still my city

What I did in Portland:

read by the river
wrote by the river
rode public transit
took photos of bridges
did some good work for my day job
reconnected with an old friend
got a little lost
spent an hour in my favorite used book store (and bought some books there)
wandered
remembered how nice it is to be with a friend who knew you when you were little
reconnected with my city

felt like it was still home

It's good every once in a while to go back to the source…
